Travel through time with the classic, unique style of these antiquarian vintage folding camera bookends!
Each hand-crafted bookend supports a vintage folding camera that can be removed and used freely. There are two camera models, similar in size:
1940s Kodak Vigilant Six 20 folding camera; Anaston 105mm, f:6.3, Flash Dakon Shutter.
1940s AGFA Ansco Viking with a 6.3 Anastigmat Lens.
Each camera can be folded and unfolded smoothly, and appears to be in working order. The lenses are intact, and there are no punches to the folding part. I have not tested the cameras with film, but they are each in great condition!
These bookends are hand-constructed with wooden dowel, fashioned from red oak and finished with a deep gloss mahogany stain. Antique book stacks are affixed to the bookends, and feature titles by Mark Twain and Shakespeare. The cameras are great collectors’ pieces, and not attached. They can be removed and repositioned freely. Each bookend is approximately 5 lbs, including the camera weight. Dimensions of each bookend are 8 1/2” high by 8 1/4” deep by 5 1/2” wide. Black felt lines the bottom.
